Several years ago, we knew a woman whose back was so crippled with arthritis she couldn't straighten up, she lived in horrible pain and was dependent on a cane and often in a wheelchair.  One day she heard a teaching about forgiveness, and how the lack of forgiveness keeps God's power from operating in our lives and prevents our prayers from being answered.  She began asking God to help her get rid of anger and resentment in her heart toward those people who had hurt her over the years.  As she forgave, the most amazing thing began to happen.  Little by little, her back began to straighten, and eventually, God restored her back to normal.  Today she is free from the aid of any cane, wheelchair or assistance and as a matter of fact, joined a gym and exercises every day.

You may see your prayers answered more quickly as you let go of the past and rid yourself of bitterness and resentment.
