Today's Scripture
So
let's do it-full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out.
Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his
word. Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out,
not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on,
especially as we see the big Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:22 - Msg.

Today's Word from Marty and Jessica
It is
usually the little stuff that gets us in trouble. It can really be anything. Maybe your spouse is not spending as much time
with you as you'd like, and you can feel yourself starting to get resentful
with your mate, sarcastic, cryptic, or unfriendly. Instead of forgiving quickly, letting go of
the hurts and pains, we quietly bury them deep down inside our hearts and
minds. We don't want to talk about the issue. We don't want to think about it. We want to ignore it and hope that it will go
away. But it won't.
Don't
let your heart get polluted. Be quick to
forgive, no matter what the circumstance and the joy of the Lord will burst
forth within you like a fresh mountain spring.
Try it and you will see forgiveness works every time. It's so much harder to hold on to a grudge then
it is to let it go, and the only way you can let it go is through absolute and
total "forget-about-it" forgiveness.
Remember, unforgiveness will keep you from your greatest moment.
Tomorrow, learn how to use your time wisely. Remember, each day is numbered.

A Prayer for Today
Heavenly
Father, thank You for reminding me how many times a day You forgive me and it's
obvious because You continue to shower me with one blessing after another. Help me, by the power of Your Spirit, to be
more like Jesus in the way I think, walk and talk. Help me to overcome the petty things that
bother me and help me to realize PRIDE will always be the trigger to
unforgiveness. Thank You Father for another
day of walking and talking with You. In
Jesus Name, Amen.
