From across the globe we receive letters and emails weekly asking us to pray for individuals, corporations and ministries that are experiencing financial hardship during these tough economic times.  People are losing their jobs, companies, and homes, and in some cases even worse entire families are being separated because of the stress associated with the economic downturn.  Just the other day I met a former Wall Street executive who lost his job several months ago.  When asked how he's doing he smiled and said, "Marty, now I'm living my dream!"  He told me that he has always wanted to own and operate a "Dirty Water" hot dog stand along the beach, and that's exactly what he's doing and loving it!  Another friend who lost their position in the real estate business is now a substitute teacher and told me, "Marty, I wish I did this twenty years ago!"  The one that really got me was a police officer who was cut from his job and went to Barber School.  He told me, "I always wanted to be a barber and never did it, now I'm happy as a clam, and I love going to my shop everyday!"
