"When you
practice some appetite-denying discipline to better concentrate on God, don't
make a production out of it. It might turn you into a small-time celebrity but
it won't make you a saint. If you 'go into training' inwardly, act normal
outwardly. Shampoo and comb your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face. God
doesn't require attention-getting devices. He won't overlook what you are
doing; he'll reward you well."

All the Attention You Need
IT'S INCREDIBLE TO IMAGINE that God
constantly seeks fellowship with us. We don't have to go through rituals and
long-winded prayers to simply share our day with God. Do you know God loves
ball games, vacations, swimming, camping, dining and dancing? His Word is so
clear when it says, "In all your ways acknowledge Him." That means, include God
in your day and He'll give you all the attention you need. Have a great weekend with your Father.
