Today's Scripture God Wants To Be First On Your List
God spoke to Moses: "Speak to the
People of Israel. Tell them that from now on they are to make tassels on the
corners of their garments and to mark each corner tassel with a blue thread.
When you look at these tassels you'll remember and keep all the commandments of
God, and not get distracted by
everything you feel or see that seduces you into infidelities. The tassels will
signal remembrance and observance of all my commandments, to live a holy life to
God. I am your God who rescued you from the land of
Egypt to be your personal God. Yes, I am God, your God."

Today's Word
Reminded of His Grace WE LIKE HAVING THINGS AROUND that remind us of all the good times we've shared in over the years. And we also like things around us that will expand our vision for better experiences in the future. We suggested yesterday that you place your favorite Scripture passages in places your often in to remind you of God's Promises, but you might want to expand that idea and put things up in your home or office that will build your faith as well. Things like photos that bring back some good memories showing you living life to the fullest. When you look at those pictures, don't say things like, "Wow, I wish I was still that happy," or, "I wish I still looked like that."
Instead, let the image sink deep down inside you. Don't let the good things God has done in your life slip away. Remember the good times He's given you and the rough times He's taken you through and remember to rejoice in them alone and with others, because friend, you've got a lot to give thanks for, God has been good!
Remember, if you're ever going to produce a picture of joy on the outside, you're going to first have to get the picture of joy on the inside.
