Hi Everyone,
Well it's been a few weeks since we returned from India and I'm still thinking about the beautiful sights we saw, the temples, the people, the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, the elephants -- just so much beauty! I found South India to be so different from the North. Lush, tropical, colorful and oh my the food! The roads seemed
colored powders India
Bindi powders at a market in Mysore
no better then in the north (12-hour bus rides ugh!), but still, a long bus ride through India is better then sitting in traffic on Reisterstown Road, right?!

I'm still putting together my photo albums, but one our of travelers, Bill Hughes, has put together some beautiful slide shows of the trip. Take a look here.

I have some pictures up on my facebook page as well. More to come soon!

And I have to thank you all for such an amazing Thanksgiving weekend here at breathe.  It was SO busy! You all really turned out for Shop Small Saturday which seemed to begin on Friday and spilled over to Sunday! I've ordered plenty of new and unique items that I hope you will love for the holidays including new wind chimes, candles, oils, teas, salt lamps, silk and wool gloves and scarves and more. Many of our items are Fair Trade certified so you can feel even better about your purchase!

EVENTS: So here's a challenge: Commit to five weeks of meditation in December and see how this practice can transform your life! Every Thursday in December join me from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. We talk about meditation and various lessons from the sages, do some pranayama (breath-work) and meditate for 30 minutes. I know you can do this for at least five weeks! And I'm sure you will want to continue long after. So take the challenge and be amazed that you really can sit still, focus, learn to deal with your thoughts in a constructive, non-judgmental    way, and create a mind filled with conscious awareness.

See the rest of our December events below. And remember, we can order any books at all that you may want to give as gifts this season. Instead of clicking on Amazon, think of us and call or email your order and we'll get it for right away. By ordering from us you help us stay in business. And we thank you!
