Mary Cosimano and Maggie Klinedinst will present a brief history of the past and current psilocybin studies at John Hopkins since they began over a decade ago. Specifically, Mary and Maggie will be discussing the current studies, which include a cancer study, a cigarette smoking cessation study, and a spiritual development study. All three of the current studies are recruiting volunteers. If you want to volunteer or know someone who might want to, come to the talk to learn more!
Mary Cosimano MSW has served as a research coordinator and study session guide for these studies at Johns Hopkins for the past ten years. During that time she has served as a session guide for all five psilocybin studies and has conducted over 180 sessions.
