Sunday, August 8, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Writing Workshop with
Justin Kramon Justin Kramon, author of the new novel Finny, will lead a seminar for
beginning writers on ideas, tips, and experiences related to getting published.
Justin provides great information for writers just starting out, such as how to
write query letters to agents, where to find magazines that will publish your
work, how to win grants and awards, etc. The talk draws from his internet project. Justin will sign
copies of his novel following the workshop. Cost: free Monday, August 9, 7 p.m - 8:30 p.m. Baltimore IONS
ExplorersJoin our monthly general discussion about topics of interest
to Noetic Science. Baltimore IONS explores the mysteries and potential of human
consciousness! Meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the month, and the IONS book

significance of lions in spiritual and political symbolism over the ages; Kari
will talk about her recent spiritual journey to visit the White Lions of
Timbavati, South Africa. The evening will culminate in a showing of the documentary

Monday, August 16, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Channeling the Great Mothers with
AuroraAurora offers us messages given to her from the Great
Mothers, including Gaia, Hera, Kwan Yin and others. Come with questions or just
listen to the messages and calls to action. Cost: $15 Tuesday, August 17, 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Breathwork Talk with David Allen Breathwork can be a very powerful tool for personal growth
and understanding when used for more than "surviving." David will share a basic
overview of his classes. You will also get to experience short seated breath
exercises and hear about ways to use breath in everyday situations. David
brings 25 years of facilitating work groups in the business world and has
taught a wide variety of topics to people in the business world and community

GroupWe meet to share experiences and offer support to women in transitional

share! Cost: donations appreciated.Wednesday, August 18, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Deep Journaling with Christine
Stewart In a quiet space, participants will respond to questions,
prompts, images, objects, or music through writing. The goal is to pause to
appreciate all that we've accomplished and consciously choose to deepen the
experience of the weekend ahead. We write in silence, in the same way a group
gathers to sit in meditation together. In this way, everyone will leave more
centered and ready to enjoy the coming weekend. We will always end with a gratitude
list. (This class may be extended for several weeks if participants are
interested). Christine Stewart is program director for arts in education,
literary arts, and children's events with the Maryland State Arts Council, and
director of Maryland's Poetry Out Loud program. A former artist-in-residence
with Creative Alliance in Baltimore, Ms. Stewart is the founding director of
the successful Write Here, Write Now workshops and has taught at Carver Center
for Arts & Technology, the Odyssey Program at Johns Hopkins, and the

Amadea Morningstar,
MA, RPP, has been working with food, energy and healing for 30 years,
and with Ayurveda for over two decades. She is an internationally
recognized author, teacher, and registered polarity educator (RPE) and
registered polarity practitioner (RPP). Her books on Ayurvedic healing
have been published in a variety of languages. She holds a BS in
nutrition and an MA in counseling. Her most recent book is The Ayurvedic
Guide to Polarity Therapy. Amadea has a private practice in Santa Fe,
New Mexico, offering Ayurvedic Polarity Therapy and nutrition education.
Susan
Weis, owner of breathe books, is a Chopra Center Certified Instructor
of Ayurveda and has taken two Ayurvedic Cooking intensives with Amadea,
at Kripalu and in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Susan offers cooking classes,
Ayurvedic Perfect Health classes and well as private consultations.
Susan is currently in training with The Chopra Center to perform
Ayurvedic diagnosis in addition to Life Style consultations.
