| Hello All! | I was lucky enough to spend gorgeous, glorious Monday at a friend's yurt in the woods. The only sounds around us were the creatures and the trees and a creek. The silence, filled with the sounds of nature, was so deeply relaxing and calming, creating a heightened sense of awareness to the incredible  surroundings. After meditating on the deck of the yurt, I opened my eyes and took in the most beautiful green colors provided by Mother Earth. It was breathtaking.
I hope you are able to fill your senses to the brim this Spring.
If you can't make it to the country, perhaps you can find some greenthings here... in spite of the fact that the color green isn't always "green" (See this article from Care2) we really want you to know about a few GREEN events in Baltimore this week!

To kick-off Earth Day join us for a talk with Jon Turk, (Wednesday, April 21) who has written 25 environmental and earth textbooks and two travel adventure books. He'll be speaking to us about his incredible journey to a Siberian village where he met and worked with a Koryak Shaman, who was able to physically heal Turk's broken pelvis. The healing profoundly changed his life forever, irrevocably altering his view of the connection between the natural and spiritual worlds. This will be a fabulous (free!) event. Don't miss it!!
Earth Day is on Thursday, April 22, when we will be showing an extremely appropriate film for the occasion, Recreating a Garden Planet, with the creator of the Anastasia series, Ringing Cedars.
