Hi Everyone,
|
I'm writing this email on a rainy, cold Tuesday night. It's what might be called "miserable" outside. I'm aware that I'm choosing to see it as miserable, but I could just as easily choose to accept it as beautiful.
I'm thinking about Byron Katie and how she finds joy in everything. In her book Loving What Is she describes resisting "what is" as simply insane. I can see how I can apply this to my life - but there are times I'd rather be insane than accept the truth of what's clearly in front of me. Alas, it's so true that once I do accept the truth, everything becomes much easier - even joyful (sometimes!). I'm still working on, but Katie's got something going on there.
That said, I now see the lights shining on the wet streets and it does look kind of beautiful...
ok - so what's going on this week?! We've got the angelic Fay Byrd offering Angel Readings on Saturday; Lydia Griffith will teach us how to bring in the new year with Feng Shui on Sunday; and on Monday, Sarah O'Leary and Yiska Obadia offer a workshop on redefining your diet based on their new book Transformative Nutrition.
So my Perfect Health through Ayurveda class is full. I will let you know soon about upcoming dates this spring (March). Feel free to give me a call to put your name on the waiting list.
You'll find details about all our events in January below and on the web site, www.breathebooks.com.
Oh - and I'll have details on our June trip to Peru in the next email. It's very exciting! We'll also be taking trips to England (Avebury, Stonehenge, Crop Circles and Glastonbury) in August, and to South India in November.
Hope to see you soon,
love,
susan
