Hello All,
|
I imagine most of you either have the day off, or will be on your way home soon. I hope you are all feeling good, relaxed and happy.
We did have a few frazzled people looking for last minute gifts, but they just couldn't help de-stressing a bit as they slowed down and meandered around the shop with a cup of tea in hand. It's always great to watch people let go and breathe - really breathe deeply, maybe for the first time that day.
I wish us all many deep breaths, smiles, and love this holiday season. If we really think about it, we have hundreds of reasons to celebrate - just try to remember a few of them each day.
Tomorrow (Dec. 25) is our Fifth Annual Non-Denominational Holiday Party, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. While I base this day on Jewish Christmas - Chinese food and a movie - it's much more than that. Connect with like-minded people, make new friends, and enjoy a laid-back, parade-free, football-free, expectation-free day.
I'm so looking forward to the gathering. I've had a lot of phone calls about food and drink, so here's the scoop - wine and spirits are fine! Food is not restricted to Chinese. But vegetarian is preferred. Feel free to bring something to share, but if you don't have anything - no worries. It's fine to just come and enjoy the day. Everyone is welcome. See schelude for the day below.
Proceeds from sales on December 25 are donated to charity - seva.org.
Thank you all for shoping local and supporting us all year long. you are amazing people!
love,
susan
