MANHATTAN:
6th YEAR! KIT Italian&Theater Classes resume on October 2nd, at 440 Studios (440 Lafayette). Children age: 6-10. Fridays 4-5pm. Special discount if you enroll before September 10!
Thirty classesto play with your children' stories and transform them into cute, nice, funny plays performed entirely in Italian for a real audience, in a real theater. Thanks to a full staff of teachers, the students will build the scenes, the costumes, as well as the play, following the oldest Italian theater tradition. The play will include songs and dances, all created from students' ideas. They will learn and/or improve Italian too: each class will be thought in Italian and will include some writing and a lot of talking (and explaining!). PLUS every month there will be one class fully devoted to Italian grammar and use of language. At the end, the students will perform the play THEY have created IN ITALIAN (with maybe few words in other languages, according with what languages the students already speak)!
For more information and to enroll, please contact [email protected]
Collina Italiana Italian&Theater Classes start beginning of October at Collina Italiana. Age 7-10. Tuesdays 3:30-4:45pm. For more information, visit theCollina Italiana website. |
Some more KIT's and KIT's friends' updates... If you haven't done so yet, check Fred Gardaphe's program Italian Signs American Streets at Dolce Channel with guests Laura and Marta! To see the program, go to Dolce Channel, click on Menu and choose the 7/15 episodes.
Sincere Apologies:We are very sorry that sometime KIT newsletter shows different fonts and formats... the program we use (a very popular one indeed) is very independent and without apparent reasons, it decides not to change font or color or size... and we accept its decision...what else is there to do?
