Italian&Theatre Summer Camp
Westchester Cultural Center

Dates: July 7, 2008 - July 31, 2008
From Monday to Friday
Time: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm


Create, Act, Draw, Make an Italian Show! An exciting fun way to learn Italian. The play, costumes and songs will be created by the children with the guidance of a team of dedicated teachers. They will learn and/or improve their Italian language skills through games, activities, songs. The program will culminate in public performance.

A book presentation with the author Herman Haller (CUNY Graduate Center) followed by a live performance by Laura Caparrotti from KIT Kairos Italy Theater of selected skits featured in the book.


Prof. Hermann Haller is the Chair of the Department of European Languages and Literatures, and Professor of Italian at Queens College and at the Graduate Center, City University of New York.

In the States, Kairos Italy Theater is dedicated to spread the Italian Culture and to create an Italian Culture Network in order to maintain and grow the knowledge of Italy in the States.
