Pier Paolo Pasolini's celebrated screenplay for Accattone is revisited by Italian movie star Valerio Mastandrea, as he weaves a unique interplay of words and music together with Italian jazz legends and longtime collaborators Roberto Gatto and Danilo Rea, winner of Europe's most important jazz award, the Golden Django.


Accattone in Jazz marks the closing night of the wider celebration Pier Paolo Pasolini Poet of Ashes organized in New York by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York and The Fondazione Aida.
