A Volunteer Work Day is scheduled at our church for this coming Saturday, April 2nd, 2011, beginning at 9:00am. A variety of tasks are planned, with an emphasis on cleaning and preparing our church building and grounds for our Easter festivities.  

The main list of tasks planned include:  

• Cleaning sanctuary windows and doors (inside and out)
• Pulling weeds, pruning, cleaning and mulching the flower beds and sign areas
• Pressure wash all patios
• Fill cracks in rock work in circle driveway
• Tilling and reworking the mulch in the playground areas
• Sand and paint boards attached to back porch rails
• General clean-up of the grounds (depending on how many people show up to help, other ideas and tasks can be added)

Anybody and everybody is encouraged to come to help improve the appearance of our church facilities. We are asking volunteers to bring the following tools and equipment they might have available:  

• Ladders
• Pressure washers
• Towels and window cleaners
• Caulking Gun
• Rakes
• Shovels
• Sand Paper
• Paint Brushes
