What is Caselaw?

Caselaw is an online searchable database of CCMA Awards and Labour Court judgments. For the most accurate information Caselaw is update weekly.

Search and retrieve employment case law
Using your preferred membership option, you may access:
  • Labour Appeal Court, and
  • Labour Court judgements, and
  • CCMA Awards.

What does Caselaw do?

 

Members may:-

Search by Applicant, Respondent or original case number.

Refine search results by type of court.

Conduct advanced text searches e.g:

  • Phrases ('sexual harassment", "constructive dismissal". assault, alcohol)
  • Advanced Phrases (alcohol AND sexual harassment AND assault)
  • Names including decisions of actual commissioners.
  • Subject matter.
  •
