Let's Face It: Growth Requires Risk
Sterling Contract Packaging Inc. of Spartanburg, SC has grown from a single 30,000 square-foot location in 1996 to 107,200 square feet in two facilities in 2012. "Sterling CPI grew out of a need in 1996 by a local company's to outsource its manufacturing," says Sterling president and CEO Michael Hastings. "When we started the company, our focus was specifically on what we considered to be contract packaging. Today, we have a much broader focus on overall supply chain responsibilities."
