Partnership Is the Strongest Tool You Have

There is a long tradition of the contract packager as a vendor: the supplier of the most appropriate, practical packaging the customer asks for. But in our modern complex world of packaging, that model has begun to be superseded by a new relationship, that as partner with our customers.

Companies build relationships with contract packagers because they do not have--or want to have--a packaging department of their own. That means that they also don't have the knowledge of current packaging technology and techniques that a packaging department would enable them to have. Which opens the door for the contract packager to develop a tighter, more interactive relationship with his customer and become a partner rather than a vendor.

C.B. Fleet Co. Inc./Fleet Laboratories, Lynchburg, VA, specializes in the manufacture of feminine care and gastro care products.
