Interested in being a mentor? Young Professionals will meet on the first Wednesdays of each month at the Back Porch Cafe for a laid-back conversational lunch with one to two students each. A strong commitment of participation is required and the time commitment on the 1st Wednesdays is 12:15p.m. to 1:15p.m. YPN Members are responsible for the cost of their lunch, plus the cost of one or two students each month. To participate, click here and select the dates you are able to attend from: March 7, April 4, May 2, and June 6.
The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce established the Young Professionals Network (YPN) for those in their 20s and 30s who would like to network with peers, gain skills to further professional development and enhance their community involvement.

Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted
| |
The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting scholarship applications from high school graduates planning to pursue a college education. This year's program introduced an online application process.
Applications are due by April 4, 2012 and can be accessed on the chamber website www.CapeMayCountyChamber.com. Interested students can complete the application by clicking on the scholarship button on the right side of the chamber's webpage.
"Our scholarship committee understands that today's students live in a world that communicates through technology, and utilizing an online application form not only is more consistent with how students relay information but is also much more environmentally responsible", according to Vicki Clark, Chamber President.
The application criteria requires that students must be or have been employed by a business that is a member of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, or their parents or guardians must be employed by or own a member business. Eligible students must also be a resident of Cape May County.

Set Sail with The Traveller: Partnership Re-launches Cape May-Lewes Ferry's Twin Capes Publication
| |
The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) is pleased to announce the re-launch of the Cape May - Lewes Ferry's official publication, Twin Capes Traveller, in a partnership with Today Media, a locally-based publishing and communications company. To be published twice a year, the Twin Capes Traveller will serve as a guide to the ferry system, as well as a handbook for where to eat, drink, shop, play, spend the night, or buy a home on either side of the Delaware Bay.
According to Michael Porch, Cape May - Lewes Ferry marketing manager, the DRBA is enthused to partner with Today Media to re-launch its popular customer service publication. "Last year, our passengers really missed this visitor's guide to the Twin Capes region," Porch said. "We're eager to get the Traveller re-started, and we're looking forward to working with Today Media, a publisher with extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry," Porch added.
Today Media president Robert F. Martinelli is proud to partner with the DRBA and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry in offering this new publication to not only Delaware, but Southern New Jersey as well: "The Twin Capes Traveller is a great opportunity to share all that the Twin Capes region has to offer. At Today Media, we believe this is not only a publication that tourists and locals alike will look forward to, but also an ideal venue for marketers to share their message on both sides of the bay," Martinelli said.
From automobile passengers on all vessels to the terminals and beyond, the Traveller will reach up to a million affluent consumers yearly. Easy to hold, and easy to carry, the digest size publication is free to tourists and locals alike. Browse Cape May-Lewes Ferry information, maps, and useful information from the Twin Capes region in full color. The first edition will cover late Winter, the Spring 'shoulder' season, and the heart of the Summer while our second edition will wrap up the balance of the Summer season while also covering the Fall 'shoulder season,' and early Winter.
Twin Capes Traveller was on hiatus in 2011 but had previously been published for more than 10 years.
Today Media's award-winning regional magazines which include Delaware Today, Hudson Valley Magazine, Main Line Today and Westchester, Magzaine, reach more than 700,000 readers each month. The company's custom communications division provides a full range of services including custom content development and marketing solutions with tailor-made strategies to help businesses grow.
