Green Solutions Conference for Hospitality Industry on May 16th

Atlantic Cape Community College will host a Green Solutions Conference for the Hospitality Industry, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday, May 16, at the Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House.
Conference highlights include:
- Opening remarks by Michele Siekerka, assistant commissioner of the Office of Economic Growth and Green Energy.
- Keynote presentation, "Green Solutions for the Hospitality Industry, It Can Be Done!" by Faith Taylor, vice president of sustainability and innovation at Wyndham Worldwide
- Panel discussion, "A Bottom-Line Approach to Sustainability," featuring moderator Dr. Richard Perniciaro, dean of facilities, planning and research at Atlantic Cape; Perry Hansen, general manager, Element Hotel; Charles Link, director of engineering, Hyatt Regency; and Faith Taylor, vice president of sustainability and innovation at Wyndham Worldwide

Will Day-Trippers, Vacationers, and Gamblers Make It a Banner Summer Season?
The Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey is hosting the the 2011 Jersey Shorecast on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00a.m. at the Carnegie Library Center in Atlantic City.
