The ILAM conference taking place in Limerick is the biggest leisure event of the year in Ireland. Gladstone will also be sponsoring the drinks reception, so please come and join us for a drink!

Irish User Groups
Gladstone is reintroducing its popular user groups. The first of these has already taken place in Dublin and was hosted by Sportco. The event was well attended and successful, the next events will be held at the following locations, Friday 19th September at University of Limerick and Wednesday 22nd October at Queens University, Belfast.

From the wonderful tally of gold, silver and bronze medals to the magnificent team spirit between athletes, team management and support staff, Gladstone wishes to heartily congratulate each and every athlete who took part at this year's Olympic Games in Beijing. In particular plaudits must go to Team GB (British Olympic Committee), the Irish Olympic Team and the Australian Olympic Committee.
All athletes provided us with a truly wonderful experience during the month of August. Scotland and Ireland round-up
 Gladstone's office in Glasgow is the hub of all our operations in Scotland and Ireland. The office even spreads its influence south of the border as the region reaches as far south as Middlesbrough in the east and Kendal in the west.
A quick Google and some basic maths indicate that relative to the total size of the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Glasgow office covers 57% of the entire geographical area. That sounds rather a lot, but an even simpler equation shows that between us we have 81 years of Gladstone experience in a team of just eleven. Read more |

 Gladstone Health & Leisure is proud to take its place at the biggest leisure event of the year, Leisure Industry Week (LIW), taking place at the Birmingham NEC 23rd to the 25th September 2008. Last year nearly 15,000 visitors attended the three day exhibition and many more are expected this year.

Support Tip of the Month
 If members don't have their membership card or they do not know their card number, there is a quick-search facility in Plus2 .
From the Reception or Members screen click on the "binoculars" icon in the toolbar. Set the 'Find' method to 'Last name, first name', and set the 'Sort order' also to 'Last name, first name' and save options - this ensures that the results are listed in alphabetical order rather than ID number order.
Set the 'Search on' option to 'Start of field' to provide quick results when matching text on a name search. The results list can be colour coded to more easily view which members are current. These could be shown in green, and those which are expired could be shown in red, it's that simple! | |
