This week's focus point - Momentum.

Last Tuesday marked the 30-year anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. I remember vividly being awakened at 8:32 am by the earthquake. Fortunately for me, I wasn't in the path of the ash. However, for the entire eastern portion of Washington, the plume turned into a black mass of ash that swept the state. To say the ash had momentum would be an understatement.

This weekend I decided to undertake a year-long project (in my mind) and clean up and re-arrange my office. It is where I do business and for me to be at my most efficient, it needed an extreme makeover. I decided to just simply get started, gain momentum, and finish. Like the mass of black ash, I gained momentum and swept through the office and it looks great. My wife is in shock. It helped that I had my Billy Joel channel on Pandora blasting!

Momentum is an incredible concept for business and life. Objects in motion, stay in motion. Is your business or life in motion? Is it going in the right direction? Make sure you get started going in the right direction, gain momentum, and see how that activity will get you in motion.

This week's quote -"To Err is Human. To Forgive is Canine"
Unknown - It's the quote on the bottom of my Jack Russell Terrier calender this month.
