We just returned home from Knitting Camp. Beth, Fiona and Josh were amazing. Hopefully all three will be back for Camp 2013.

The Woodstock Fleece Festival is an annual event that invites fibre artists and others to join together in an atmosphere of appreciation, learning and camaraderie. The show will incorporate workshops and demonstrations from top instructors. Exhibition booths will be selling everything from raw fibre to quality finished goods. It is also a great place to have lunch!

"We've scaled up one of our favorite scarf patterns by substituting a sport-weight linen yarn and much larger needles. Then we just kept knitting 'til it reached lavish proportions. We tried it with fringe, like the original, but the strands didn't behave and it just wasn't any fun. So we opted to work one-row stripes (with three colors, the next color is always waiting right where you need it!) for a glorious tapestry"
