store Greetings!

Spring yarns are starting to arrive. That means rearranging the store to fit everything in.

The ruffles scarves have been extremely popular. Our suppliers have been out of stock but that is about to change. We are expecting large shipments of existing yarns and colours along with some new surprises for spring.

I am working away on Gnarled Oak-the cardigan that I am going to wear at the Knitter's Frolic. The body and sleeves are joined to knit the yoke and when done I need to do grafting (also known as Kitchener Stitch) under the armholes. This scares many knitters.

There is a great article on knitty.com with pictures with a great explanation on how to graft.

Color Affection
Purchase on Ravelry

I love sock yarn. Especially hand dyed sock yarn. I'm always on the lookout for patterns that use sock yarn. I hit the jackpot on Ravelry-Color Affection. Stunning!!

Lynda, one of my knitters, just finished Color Affection for the store. We used three skeins of madelinetosh-tosh merino light-flashdance, jade and nebula.
