Monday Morning Workshop:
Weaving Technology into your Media Program

Learn more about tools and resources you can weave into your library media program from one of Minnesota's leading media specialists. Exchange best practices, have a hands-on opportunity to explore, and take home some great ideas. Laurie works in the Sartell schools and is communications chair for the ISTE SIGMS.
Some of the topics covered: wikis, blogs, Webtools4u2use; -- lots to learn about, experiment with, and share.
Bring a wi-fi enabled laptop if you'd like some hands-on! |

- Bring a favorite book - in any medium or format - to share with colleagues
- Have a hands-on chance to explore reading devices (Kindle,Nook), smart phones, tablets,pico projector, flip cams and digital cameras - bring your own favorite tools and toys!
- Share your favorite apps on phones and other devices
- Network with friends and colleagues over light refreshments!
Special guest, Buffy Hamilton, the Unquiet Librarian,
will be joining us via Skype!

Make it happen:
- Register online .The cost is $50/per person. Don't forget that scholarship opportunities may be available from your multitype library system -- NLLN, CMLE, SAMMIE for sure!
- It is not necessary to be a member of the North Star Library Consortium to attend this event. Everyone is welcome.
- All paid registration fees will be refunded if the weather forces cancellation of the event or prevents you from attending.
