Australian Institute of Management - St Kilda
AIMVision One Australia were proud to have been appointed to facilitate the audio and visual upgrades at the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) in St Kilda.

The works included major upgrades to the large restaurant area.

The AIM had been increasingly frustrated with their existing system which was confusing and difficult to operate. Although the old system had been installed with some sophisticated equipment for its time, for the most part the system proved too difficult and cumbersome. Motorised projector lifts were operated manually, manual roller projection screens were showing wear and tear, and the audio system was just too difficult to understand.AIM_2

The brief from AIM was to replace/upgrade whatever was required to ultimately create a simple, easy to use system that anyone, even with little or no audio visual experience could walk in and operate. There were many options that were considered including fully automated AMX control systems. But with limited functionality required, it was decided unecessary to implement such a sophisticated system that may have ultimately only added to the confusion.

The team at Vision One looked to create a system that could be ready to use with only the press of one button.

Carey Grammar School
Boardroom Installation
Carey Boardroom

Carey Grammar School in Kew required a fixed AV installation to their Boardroom. The historic building posed real issues as the deisgn and layout of the room, together with the delicate aesthetics made it very difficult to incorporate a traditional A/V fitout. Feedback from staff however indicated that their requirements were very simple and that all that was required was the ability to project an image without the need to always set up a portable projector on the Boardroom table.
