After you click on and test these examples listed below you will see the excel format in the first line of your search results. You will need to click on this link to download the file (make sure that your virus program is up to date, however, I've personally never had any issues with downloading files). Furthermore, in your search results you may also see the file format "[pdf]" and this is because the excel format sometimes appears in another file format such as PDF.
