Ask these questions prior to your telephone call
1. What do you know about the company that you're calling? 2. Have you reviewed their website? 3. Do you know the name of the business owner? 4. Have you practiced your sales opener (see examples below) 5. What engaging questions will you ask? 6. How prepared are you to overcome sales objections? 7. What separates you from your competition? 8. What benefits does your product and/or service offer? 9. If you were the prospect (or in their shoes), what would make you listen to the other person on the other end of the phone?
10. And finally, have you done an attitude check? It's time to get fired up to make cold calls. There is nothing more powerful in sales (and in life in general) then a enthusiastic and positive attitude. GET FIRED UP BECAUSE YOUR ATTITUDE WILL IMPROVE YOUR SALES!
