YOUR PROSPECT WAS JUST INTERESTED and NOW THEY HAVE NO INTEREST?

WHAT JUST HAPPENED HERE?
  • Don't give up on your prospect, if they don't call back just keep calling them till you get a firm "NO!"  Try following up with them every month or every other month.  Persistence is your best friend.
  • Send a note in the mail with an industry article and include a hand written note indicating that you came across this article and you look forward to speaking with them in the very near future.
  • Leave a very easy going voicemail and indicate that you spoke with them a few months back regarding (Insert your product or service here).  See if you might be able to visit their office again to reconnect and list a few very specific days and times in your message. 
  • Follow up all voicemails with an email to your prospect - Ask for another meeting!
  • In your next voicemail message, try incorporating the following words into your message:  "We haven't spoken in a while and I was just wondering where we may have missed the mark in earning your business?  Are you open to revisiting what we have to offer?  We'd like to earn your business and we'd love to learn what we can do to achieve that?
