A Positive Note
Give Work Meaning?

Greetings!
Welcome to the August Positive Note. We are flying into the fall with a lot of activity, building software and services to help you Give Work Meaning. Around the world there is continued evidence that everyone is looking for meaning in their work and life.

Two recent examples come from CNN and NPR. While watching CNN at the gym yesterday, I saw a promotion around work/life balance. Also, on NPRs Talk of The Nation Show there was a long, slightly annoying program about Life Goals.

The current zeitgeist is the search for self-actualization at work and at play. At PositiveWare we hope that we can be part of your search.

Release 2.1.2
Create Many Tasks/Projects
Development wanted to punch out a quick release prior to losing key staff to vacation. With this release we tried to make modest improvements to the application that may have been driving you crazy. 2.1.2:

  • Adds "Create Many Tasks/Projects" to enable multiple copies of the same task or project,
  • Increases number of copies to 10,
  • Allows users to create lists of bills by month or client in the billing manager,
  • Fixes a couple of undocumented features.

Partner Focus
Axcelus
"...all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

George Bernard Shaw

If you are thinking about growth (and who isn't) you might have a look at what our partner Axcelus is doing. Paul Lemberg has created a coaching program that can guide you from expected results to unreasonably great results. PositiveWare is proud to be part of his process.

Some of his theory is laid out in his book, Be Unreasonable, but I can attest from personal experience that the Axcelus coaching program will give you great results.

If you happen to be in San Diego next month (or are looking for a reason to go) you might check out his seminar, or give him a call.
