Greetings! I just wanted to say, hi, and hope to see you at my upcoming gig at the Inn at Lathones, Aug. 1st.
All's well here in Peekskill, NY. I'm busy finishing up production for the new season of my BBC Radio Scotland series, 'Dean Friedman's Real American Folk' which begins airing in Scotland on Thursday, 7th August, then weekly through Sept. 11th, and in the meantime, I'm frantically packing to get ready for the upcoming tour.
Scotland is always a favorite part of my tour (the landscape reminds me a lot of NY state - beautful hills, valleys, lakes...). David Mundell has always managed to promote especially fun and intimate gigs in Scotland, and I'm really looking forward to my appearance at the Inn at Lathones which promises to be a special, intimate gig.
So, mark the date on your calendars and I hope to see you all there on Friday, 1st August.
