Welcome Pre-K Families: Pre-K will have Registration and Meet and Greet on the same day, August 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will be able to come at any time during these times for your convenience. First you must provide proof of residency, including one (1) utility bill (gas, water or electric only) or a Deed or Signed Lease, and a Parental photo ID. They will be checked at a table in the Kindergarten hall. Then bring your precious little one to the Pre-K room #20 in the Kindergarten hall. Bring copies of any updated health records (if needed.) You will complete additional information and tell how your child will go home the first week. Be sure you know the bus #, if your child will be riding the bus that week. That information will be available in the cafeteria at the bus table. Then you will look at the Pre-K room and get acquainted with the teachers. Please bring the optional supply list at this time. - A recent picture of your child and/or family for the classroom bulletin board.
- An old towel, or you may send in a small fleece blanket.
- You may also send in a small stuffed animal. Be sure both items are labeled with names. They will be sent home every Friday to wash.
- Art smocks are provided, so you DO NOT need to send in an old T-shirt.
- Two (2) large boxes of Kleenex tissues. The Puff brand is gentle on little noses.
- Two (2) containers of anti-bacterial soft soap in a pump container.
- Two (2) rolls of paper towels.
- One change of clothing that includes underpants, socks, pants, and a t-shirt in a plastic bag. Label the bag with your child's name.
After Meet and Greet you may join PTA and enter the cafeteria. You will be given a map of everything available. Be sure to bring a checkbook if you wish to purchase Spirit Wear, Yearbook, and other items. Later in the month Pre-K will have a Curriculum Night where the curriculum and yearly activities will be explained. Sign-ups will be at this time. Pre-K ROCKS!! |
