Sundays in February
It was once said, "Marriage is work, but it's worth working for." Our homes don't just become perfect overnight. In order for your family to experience success, you must be willing to work for it. This month, Pastor Rocky will be teaching a Sunday series called Home Work. Learn how to improve your marriage and your family through biblical guidance. Every Sunday in February at 10:30am in the Oak View Middle School Auditorium.
The Circle Maker
Wednesdays in February
Pastor Rocky will begin facilitating a new series based on the new bestselling book by Mark Batterson called The Circle Maker. You will learn how to pray circles around your biggest dreams and your greatest fears. You will discover that God honors bold prayers and bold prayers honor God. 7:00pm in the Oak View Middle School Auditorium.
DCC Missions Campaign 2012
We are still in the midst of our 2012 Missions Project. All of the Dream offerings that normally go to our building fund will support Casa Shalom and the Heart of Florida Youth Ranch unless marked otherwise. Join us as we sow into these two ministries and are blessed because of it.
Couples Valentine's Party Saturday, February 4 Take it back to high school and dress like a nerd or jock. The fun begins at 6:00pm in the CE Building Sanctuary. Tickets will still be on sale Wednesday, February 1. You may call the church office to RSVP until Thursday, February 2 at 5:00pm. Walk-ins will be limited due to space restrictions.
Super Bowl Bash Sunday, February 5
Come watch the Super Bowl on a huge screen with your DCC family! It all begins at 4:00pm at the new DCC property. Pork BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs will be provided. If your last name begins with A-L bring drinks, M-R bring chips, S-Z bring desserts.

New Series - Sex Cymbals
Begins Wednesday, February 8
Sex sells. Sex tempts. Sex lies. Sex glorifies. How can one thing do all this? At AXIS we will tackle this oh-so-difficult but oh-so-important topic and discover God's plan for sex, love and dating. 7:00pm in the CE Building Sanctuary.

Girls/Guys Night
Friday, February 17
Guys will meet at the church for video games, pingpong, foosball, pool & pizza. Girls will meet at Pastor Andrew & deAnna's house for a make your own pizza & game night. Bring $5 with you to cover your food for the evening. It begins at 6:00pm, you don't want to miss it!

The Ultimate Challenge
February in Kidmo and Blitz
This month, we're taking on the Ultimate Challenge of showing the highest degree of honor. We'll be looking to David as a mentor and exploring his life in 1 and 2 Samuel, and we will define honor as "letting someone know you see how valuable they really are." Your kids won't want to miss what happens in February when we show others how truly valuable they are!

L.O.V.E.
February in Lil' Sproutz and Lil' K
It's the month of L-O-V-E. Love! So, let's celebrate it by showing our love to the one who loves us more than anyone! This month, we will teach our preschoolers to: "Love . . . God with all your heart," (Matthew 22:37, NIrV). By sharing what Jesus taught us while He was here on earth, we pray that our preschoolers will begin to understand how to love their heavenly Father who loves them so very much.

Destiny Kids BLITZ
Begins Wednesday, February 1
This brand new elective and discipleship based program launches February 1st! Kids will spend 30 minutes in concentrated discipleship then choose from 2 electives that change every 9 weeks. Semester 1 electives will be Volleyball and Photography. Your children will delve into God's Word then have an opportunity to develop new talents and passions through the elective of their choice. This program will continue to foster Spiritual Development in our children as well as now giving them opportunities for Direction as they cultivate passion for new areas. BLITZ check-in is located at the back door to Oak View Middle School Gym beginning at 7:00pm. Enter through the Auditorium and leaders and signs will direct you which way to go.
KidJAM Parent/Child Meeting
Sunday, February 5
If you have pre-registered and paid for your child to attend KidJAM, we will have a brief parent meeting immediately following our Sunday morning service. We'll be going over specific information pertaining to the trip. Please make sure you and your child are in attendance.

If you would like to stay up-to-date on the latest information at Destiny Kids, please email deAnna at dpetruch@destinycommunitychurch.org and ask to be put on the parent list. She will also be emailing monthly Parent Cues for you to stay informed on what your children are learning each month in kids as well hang time activities, meal time questions and information designed to stimulate discussion and reinforce the Bible truths they're learning on Sundays and Wednesdays. They're an awesome resource to help your family Think Orange!

Miles for Missions 5K Saturday, February 25
Bridge Young Adult Ministry will be hosting a 5K for DCC's 2012 Missions Project. Pre-Registration cost is $20 and includes an Event T-Shirt. It is $25 on the day of the event and does not include a T-Shirt. Another option is to get people to sponsor you to run or walk the 5K. Sponsorship forms will be available at the info table and if you raise $30 or more, you do not have to pay the entry fee. Children 10 and under are free, however, if they would like a t-shirt, it is $10 and you must pre-register them for t-shirt size purposes. Bridge Bible Study Sunday, February 26 This young adult group meets for a discussion based Bible study at 6:30pm in the CE Building Sanctuary. Following the Bible study, we will be eating dinner at the church. There are many exciting things happening at DCC. Singles Valentine's Party Saturday, February 11 All DCC Singles are invited to a western themed social at Misty Meadows from 6:00-9:00pm. Children are welcome. Please bring a finger food to share.
