VNA of Chittenden and

Grand Isle Counties E-News

June 15, 2012

Greetings!

Please enjoy the latest edition of VNA E-News.

Still Time to Support our

FY12 Annual Fund

Annual Fund Allis PhotoThe VNA provides over $2.5 million in charitable care each year. This is uncompensated care provided free or at a greatly reduced rate to our neighbors in need. We depend on support from our community to provide this care and your generosity helps ensure that the VNA can continue to serve all who turn to us.

From the tiniest baby just coming home, to people facing the end of their lives, the VNA is there to help. Day in and day out, our caregivers help people get up in the morning, check their blood pressure and other vital signs, help them get on their feet after surgery, dress their wounds, make them nutritious meals and put them to bed in the evening. Last year, your VNA cared for nearly 5,000 individuals and families across a dozen diverse programs.

We are grateful for your support. Please consider a gift to the VNA Annual Fund for the end of our fiscal year on June 30. Our friends at Champlain Investment Partners have given a very generous gift of $10,000 with the hope that it will encourage other donors to give as well.

Click the button above or visit www.vnacares.org/donate/make-donation-online if you would like to make a donation and indicate your support for the VNA Annual Fund or for any of the programs listed there.

Thank you.

Start the Conversation

Start the Conversation

In life, we prepare for everything - college, marriage, children and retirement. But, we seldom talk about preparing for end-of-life care. We'd like to help you start the conversation and increase your understanding of end-of-life options, how to share end-of-life wishes and how to record your decisions using Vermont's Advance Directive form.

We invite you to join a conversation:

 June 19, 2012

6:30-7:30 pm
