Greetings!
"The drama is not dead but liveth, and contains the germs of better things."
WILLIAM ARCHER, About the Theatre
I sincerely hope you have recovered from the effects of Irene. As if we didn't have enough problems...
In these difficult times, it might seem mad to think about theatre as a priority. And yet times like these are precisely why we need it. Theatre has always been a place where people can turn for hope and inspiration. My mother was born in 1929 to immigrant parents who barely spoke English. Yet, throughout the great Depression, they always found the time and means to take their family to the theatre. It held them together, made them laugh, cry and reminded them that better times would return.
It is in this spirit that I announce the second season of the Stray Kats Theatre Company. We made tremendous strides in introducing ourselves to the community last season and learned a lot in the process. I hope to see you again for more stimulating evenings of contemporary classics and new works. The season includes winners of the Tony Award, Pulitzer Prize, Humana Festival and some plays that have never been seen before.
We are offering a pre-season special: BUY NOW AND SAVE 40%! That's right. Purchase a full-season subscription on line before November 19th for just $90!
