Cost of Living remains low for region

Dear Friend, 

Pittsburgh's Composite Cost of Living Index remains below the benchmark average. The Transportation Cost of Living component is one of the highest. The Housing component is the second-lowest - only St. Louis is lower - and the Health Care component is the lowest of any region. 

In addition, Pittsburgh remains above the benchmark average year-to-date through June for hotel occupancy rates (65.7 percent), revenue per room ($70.35) and average daily rates ($107.10).
