Total nonfarm job numbers from June 2011 in the Pittsburgh region were up again, increasing by 13,600 from June 2010. These numbers are stronger than all benchmark regions except Milwaukee, Boston and Cleveland.
Between June 2010 and June 2011, Pittsburgh's nonfarm job numbers
increased by 1.19 percent.
