CT Association for Infant Mental Health  NEWSLETTER
Issue Spring 2012
Correct one
Greetings!

Our Newsletter will have a different look in this issue because we are missing our Editor of many issues, Kevin J. Sullivan.  We will dedicate this issue to Kevin who represented the Department of Health on our Board of Directors as a non-voting member.  Kevin died suddenly on February 16, 2012.  Kevin enjoyed putting our Newsletter together and we will miss his expertise and dedication.

May 9 is Children's Mental Health Day

May 9-16 is Children's Mental health week.  CT-AIMH Board has developed a document that we ask you to send to your local newspaper to be featured during the month of May, mental health month.

The article advocates for paying attention to infants and toddlers and their relationships with their caregivers.  More and more research points to the impact early relationships have on later learning.  Click on the link below to read the article.
