Enhanced driver's licenses make it easier for U.S. citize ns to cross the border into the United States. The states of Michigan, New York, Vermont and Washington are issuing these enhanced driver's licenses. Click here to learn more about these licenses from The Department of Homeland Security. Check with your local DMV to learn if there are plans to implement this new license where you live.
