It is with heavy hearts and our deepest regrets that we announce the death of Ms. Edna Carter Chuukwu, the dear mother of Ebony Chuukwu, the former spouse of Mr. Anthony Chuukwu, and a dedicated volunteer at CCTC, which occurred on Monday, May 16, 2011 at about 7:30 p.m. in her home. Edna is survived by her mother Susan Carter, two daughters and grand children. Funeral announcements would be announced in the near future.

Edna volunteered most of her free time at CCTC providing services to everyone and especially to low-income families. The staff of CCTC would dearly miss her very much. Edna showed so much care, compassion, respect and humility to everyone around her. She was always polite and amiable in her dispositions to CCTC clients and staff. We will dearly miss Edna.
