La Retama Park is the focal point of ArtWalk. This is where you can obtain free information and maps. It is also where the tram and RTA Express connect and where the prize draw takes place.

• New food vendor this month -  Callie's Cajun come on down and give their "Taste of New Orleans" a try!
• Music in the park will be provided by "Get Off the Lawn" from 5:30 until 8:30pm
• Free kids art activities by K Space Contempoary.
• There will be a selection of arts and crafts (not resale) vendors open from 5:30pm until 9pm including a food vendor and Uncertain Farms (from Marina Market Days) will be in the park with a selection of jams, fruit & vegetables for sale.
• Maps and flyers are available from the DMD booth, ArtWalk volunteers (wearing orange T-shirts), ArtWalk Ambassadors wearing orange polo shirts,  Parking Control Officers on their electric carts, and on the RTA ArtWalk Express. The DTown Tram will also have a supply of maps  and an on board Ambassador and of course, HOBO will be there providing their usual brand of Honkadelic entertainment.  
• The Prize Draw will take place at 8:45pm and prizes can be viewed by clicking HERE

  Hot Spot: "Notes to St. Peter" is an exhibition of works by father and son Ricardo Ruiz and Ricardo V. Ruiz.  Ricardo the Elder will be painting live on the gallery wall during ArtWalk

• Urban Fare Cafe This fresh new cafe, offering a healthier alternative menu, features the art of local artists on its walls this Friday night music by Jimmy Willden (1st set) followed by "R & R". Also belly dancing by Hourglass Bellydance.
• Villains Collectables New shop opening at 619 Mesquite  Hours are 4pm till 12am. Tuesday through Friday pm. Saturdays 12pm through 12am and Sundays 12pm through 6pm.

The Art Museum of South Texas, The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, and the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures

The RTA "ArtWalk Express" Route#79 will visit all these locations between 5:30 and 9:30pm so hop on the free transport and check out these amazing locations all of which are offering FREE entry to ArtWalkers.

  showing Slacker at 7pm in the HEB Auditorium Free admission; cash bar
• Museum of Science and History
  

  Arrive at 6:00 p.m. and create your own "Recycle Art Masterpiece". This family friendly activity is free to all museums visitors until 7:30 p.m. Admission free on ArtWalk night.

We are always looking for volunteers to help out on ArtWalk nights. Tasks include helping to set up / take down tents in the park, handing out maps / flyers throughout Downtown or on the tram / RTA Express, supervising the kids art area in the park, and many other small but helpful chores.
