Mr. Gerald A. Fernandez is the founder and president of the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance (MFHA). He founded MFHA while employed with General Mills, Inc. in Minneapolis in 1996. Before joining General Mills, Gerry spent more than 10 years as a senior manager opening and operating fine dining restaurants. Ms. Rachel Curry is the Director, Multicultural Development, for KFC, U.S., a subsidiary of YUM Brands, Inc. Rachel joined KFC in 2003, and is responsible for increasing minority franchise ownership, strengthening the capabilities of and developing existing franchisees, as well as diversity talent sourcing, and retention.
