Dragon Dictation  is a free app available on your iPad or iPhone. You speak directly into the screen on your phone or iPad and when you complete recording, it processes your words as text. You can then edit, email, and/or upload the text to social media.

 

I have used it and actually love the ease of use. I would recommend speaking clearly so that the program will correctly spell your words. It's 90% accurate and the great thing is if you correct an error in the program  you will never find that error again.  You will need to be connected to Wi-Fi in order for Dragon Dictation to work.

 

Just last week, Apple released one of its latest features in their new iOS 5. The iCloud, stores all of your apps, documents, music, and device data in the "cloud". Users will receive 5 Gigabytes of data for free (apps and iTunes purchases will not be counted against your limit and can still be downloaded at any time). Data hungry users have the option to purchase more space for a yearly fee.  Available for all iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod, etc) iCloud is a great way to back up your data, and easily sync your content between other devices.
