We appreciate all of you who took the time to participate in our webinar yesterday. One of the topics discussed revolved around Homepath eligibility. We understand there has been some confusion surrounding the determination of whether or not a home is eligible for Homepath financing. We hope to clarify some of the confusion with this email.
Attached is a worksheet that we ask that you use to help us determine eligibility. The document contains several criteria that will qualify or disqualify a property for Homepath eligibility. We ask that as you do your inspections, this document be in hand and reviewed to make sure we are properly list the property as Homepath eligible. If there are any items that would disqualify the property, we ask that you notify your asset manager so that they can properly update the listing and have the Homepath eligibility banners removed from the Homepath website.
Having the property mislabeled as Homepath eligible when it is indeed not, will lead to delays and extend marketing times. If we follow this additional step, we can make sure that all of our HP financing deals go through smoothly and quickly.
