We can be sure of the experience of how quickly time passes and how the days seem to "run by". Catherine McAuley's advice is helpful in our times as well as it was in hers.
"How rapidly the days, weeks, and months are passing. Another month ended, that seemed but a few days begun. If we have not forfeited the friendship of almighty God, but have been trying to love Him more and more, and to serve Him faithfully, they were blessed days for us."
Letter from Catherine McAuley to de Sales White February 28, 1841 |

| Mercy Learning Online | |
Throughout the months of December and January the Network has been in dialogue with schools about the
Mercy Learning Online program seeking ideas for additional courses and use. Two conference calls and an online request for input have provided valuable information for planning for summer and for the academic year.
Moreover, the Network has been confirming teachers for the summer classes and both the application and the current openings are posted at the Network site. It also includes summer course dates and other information.
As planning is ongoing, please check online at the Network site and/or contact the Network with ideas or questions. More information will come in February.

Conference Calls
|
In the month of January conference calls were held for a number of groups, including new Presidents and Principals, Mercy Technology/IT persons, Advancement persons and Finance persons. Mercy Learning Online contacts also met. A separate entry shares information on Mercy Learning Online. At the end of each call a date is set for the next call and dates are posted at the Network website. The group decides on the topics. A listing of the calls and the groups that are in dialogue with one another is posted at the Network website. Click on Network Programs and then Conference Calls. The Network can schedule additional groups based on interest. It is not necessary to be on each call to join in on any scheduled call. The Network recognizes the complexities of schedules and appreciates the time given to sharing with other Mercy educators.
