CONSTRUCTION BEGINS!  It's Monday morning, August 22, and the pool construction project is well under way.  Work began yesterday afternoon as RRC staff worked late into the night moving, packing and storing our supplies and equipment.  A team came back early this morning to salvage plants and other items for re-use. Our contractor arrived last night with blessings from the City to start pumping the pool.  Over night, the pool dropped 3 feet and as you can see from the pictures below, it already looks mighty different up here. A shout out to fifth grader Kate Benjamin for being the LAST swimmer to swim in the RRC pool!  Kate closed up the pool last night with some killer cannonballs as the sun set on our pool for the last time.
