| The BIG Membership Committee is finalizing plans for the first annual BIG Gumbo Cook-Off this fall to raise money specifically to expand our BIG Scholarship Program. Teams will compete for judges' and People's Choice awards, and fun will be had by all.
We hope to announce day, time, location, and competition details in July. Stay tuned!
Also, the Membership Committee is still in need of volunteers to help coordinate the cook-off event. We would love your help! Email committee chairman Ricky Melancon if you can lend a hand.

Rebuilding Our Economy, Restoring Our Environment Restore or Retreat will host a forum on Gulf Coast Restoration Opportunities on Thursday, July 19 at NSU.
You are invited to attend the workshop that will convene leaders from industry, government and community organizations in Louisiana for a lively and insightful discussion of the ways that coastal restoration projects can benefit workers, industries, and communities.

| July 9 Luncheon Speaker is Boysie Bollinger
| BIG welcomes Boysie Bollinger, President and CEO of Bollinger Shipyards, as guest speaker for our next monthly membership luncheon on Monday, July 9.
In addition to his leadership role at Bollinger Shipyards, a leading provider of quality construction, repair and conversion products and services to both the military and commercial marine industry, Boysie has been very active in local, state and national organizations including the Shipbuilders Council of America, National Ocean Industries Association, Louisiana Recovery Authority, and National WWII Museum.
The monthly luncheon begins at Noon on Monday, July 9 at the Bayou Country Club in Thibodaux. Enjoy a safe 4th of July holiday, and then join us for our next luncheon and great speaker presentation! ___________________________________________________

Lunch is free for BIG members. There is a $20 fee for reserved guests; $25 for walk-ins. Since BIG is required to pay for total number of reservations, all reserved guests will be billed for payment regardless of attendance. We hope to see you on July 9! |
