Thank You!!!
The Bob's Market family would like to extend our thanks to all those who participated in making Operations Christmas Child a success again this year.  1,572 Shoe Boxes were collected!  This past Sunday night the youth from Fairview Bible Church met at our production headquarters and helped pack up the boxes to be shipped to Samaritan's Purse.

Poinsettia Care Tips
Soon we will have a selection of beautiful poinsettias in our stores for the holiday season.  Poinsettias can sometimes be a bit tricky to care for, especially if you are new to indoor plant care.  The follow list of tips will help you select and care for the right Christmas beauty for your home.
  • Select a plant with stiff stems, good bract retention and no signs of wilting, breaking, or drooping.
  • When transporting the plant, protect it from temperatures below 50F.  Inserting the poinsettia into a sleeve or a large shopping bag will usually provide sufficient protection.
  • Make sure your poinsettia has at least six hours of sunlight per day (some folks say indirect, but direct sunlight seems to work fine).
  • Provide room temperature between 68-75F.  They are a tropical plant after all.
  • Don't place them near cold drafts or excessive heat i.e. near vents, fireplaces, or appliances.
  • Don't overwater your plant or let it set in standing water.  Always remove poinsettias from and decorative container before water, and make sure it is thoroughly drained before putting it back.
  • Don't fertilize your poinsettia while it is in bloom.

by Sharon Roush

Ingredients

  • Deer, cut into cubes
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 Bottle of White Wine
  • 1 Can Tomato Paste, diluted
  • Carrots
  • Potatoes
  • Celery
  • Salt & Pepper

Clean and cut deer into cubes.  Soak deer in a water and vinegar bath for 30 minutes.  Brown onions in a pan with oil, add deer cubes and stir.  After cubes brown, raise the heat and keep stirring until the water is gone (leave heat high).  Add the wine and continue stirring.  Add remaining ingredients and water until covered.  Then simmer until done.
