What's Happening at NCCI?
On Saturday, April 16th Nancy Campbell Collegiate Institute (NCCI) Foundation will proudly present the Student Spring Showcase during the afternoon and host the Blue Moon Music Hall and Dinner during the evening.
Student Showcases have become a much-loved
Nancy Campbell Collegiate tradition. "Spring and Fall Showcases are always a hit," said Josy Britton, NCCI Foundation board member. "I love how NCCI fosters the unique abilities and creativity of each student. The Spring Showcase provides an opportunity for students to perform and to be celebrated and supported by the community. It's a very uplifting event!" Family, friends and community members will be treated to a diverse set of performances from both elementary and high school students that will include singing, instrumental pieces, dancing and poetry.
Following the Student Spring Showcase, which will take place from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Royal View Church, parents and students are invited to attend the Blue Moon Music Hall and Dinner. This fundraising event will feature fabulous food, music and storytelling. Ed VandenDool, Mike Dragoman, Brett Smith and Loraina Fox, who is a former NCCI student, are the event's headlining acts. When asked why he decided to be involved in the event, Ed VandenDool responded: "My son attended NCCI and graduated in 2004. He had a wonderful experience. My daughter was a performing arts teacher at NCCI. I am excited to be a part of this event because I believe in the mission of the school and I want to support it."
