Greetings!
Spring is a busy time in your Metro Parks. Migratory birds are returning, daffodils are blooming and Metro Parks crews are preparing our two swimming areas for the upcoming season.
On April 25 we will officially open the new Bike & Hike Trail realignment and parking lot expansion at Brandywine Falls. And in May we will dedicate the final section of the Towpath Trail in Summit County.
See you on the trails,
Metro Parks, Serving Summit County

April Outdoor Almanac |
Songbirds and waterfowl arrive to nest for the summer, or to stop on their way to breeding grounds in Canada and the Arctic. Bats move from winter hibernation sites, likes the Ledges at Liberty Park, to summer homes in tree hollows and under loose bark. Male turkeys look for mates, and their gobbles can be heard throughout O'Neil Woods Metro Park.
